Job Duties
  • Technical Trainer position is responsible for delivery of curriculum to End-Users within the program training classroom environment, including attendance and student progress monitoring for the duration of training, providing coaching and developmental feedback and readiness recommendations.
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM-based program training, both classroom and online learning; including but not limited to presentations, manuals, guides, and quick-reference sheets, administering course exams, and material review.
  • This role will require travel, both within Texas as well as neighboring States.
Training Knowledge
  • Knowledge of principles, concepts and methods to deliver training for IT solutions.
  • Apply broad knowledge of learning and training concepts and principles
  • Apply and adopt adult learning techniques and methods to audience
  • Recommend delivery approach will be classroom and On-line
Training Delivery
  • Delivers learning solutions in a manner that is both engaging and effective.
  • Deliver training for technology-based solution to a broad user base (e.g. Super-User, Office-User, Program Enrollees)
  • Convey course objectives and ensure that the objectives have been met
  • Establish credibility as an instructor
  • Create a positive learning climate
  • Coordinate all aspects of training logistics including; managing training schedules, preparing training environments, training material delivery, training room preparation and setup
  • Align learning approach to course objectives and student needs
  • Encourage participation and build student motivation
  • Adapt instructional style to foster change, overcome resistance and positively promote training and organizational objectives.
  • Provide follow-up support for all trainees, including periodic written updates and other forms of opportunity for trainees to contact trainer(s) and receive additional information.
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, as applicable including identifying and communicating areas for curriculum development/enhancement opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field required
  • Experience in instruction, adult learning and/or educational delivery at multiple sites using a full array of methodologies in a software environment required
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required
  • Good public speaker and at ease moderating large groups required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel required
  • Experience training Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions a plus
  • Ability to learn new software applications quickly
  • Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to problem solve, ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
  • Committed to promoting the goals of the project
  • Knowledge of human services and eligibility programs preferred
